ECCE GOVERNMENT SCHEME

In April 2009 the government announced the introduction of The Early Childhood Care & Education Scheme (ECCE). This scheme aims to provide one year of free pre-school education to every child in Ireland aged between 3 years 3 months and 4 years 6 months on 1st September each year.

Discoveries Crèche & Montessori School is a registered provider of the ECCE Government Scheme:

THE FULL/PART-TIME DAY-CARE SERVICE SCHEME(50 Weeks)

For those children who qualify, the government will contribute €48.50 per week, covering the cost of 2 hours 15 minutes childcare per day for 5 days per week OR 3 hours 45 minutes per day for 3 days per week.

THE SESSIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (38 Weeks)

For those children who qualify the government will contribute €64.50 for 3 hours per day for 5 days per week.
